Mt. Zion is the second Holiest place after the Western Wall (Bait Hamikdash) and Holy for all people. Three thousand years ago there where two cities of Jerusalem.  King David was the only King that had a Minister of Peace between the two tribes, since then it is called Yurashalem from the Hebrew word means wall. Between people there is no argument there is only misunderstanding.  Once a German archaeology named Warner found next to the Sheloach Well found a Yevosi city and graves and he decided that there is a City of David. We know, according to Kabbalah that this place represents David's Tomb.  We know that that all Twenty -one Kings of David were buried in the same place and the Kings of Israel were buried elsewhere.

Maybe by the Sheloach well but here as it says in Tehilim that Mt. Zion is the city of David but a world search of this by  my Rabbi.
